Congratulations Fr. Jim

Today, Sunday, October 19, 2025 St. James awarded the title of PRIEST EMERITUS to Fr. Jim Lupton. Jim was a priest at St. George's in Hyde County for over 20 years, before coming to St. James. Sometimes Jim would hold a service at St. James and then drive to St. George's and have a service there afterwards. He has been a staple of Belhaven for many many years and when he left to go live in Arkansas, we were saddened. But, he decided he missed Belhaven so much and came back. So it was only fitting to present him with this plaque.
